About Student Workspace Gear

Student Workspace Gear is a new independent content website for college and graduate students setting up places to study and work.

We’re starting with laptop stands and risers for small desks. Our aim is to explain useful differences, practical limitations, and the evidence behind each recommendation.

Our first guide uses source-based research. We have not personally tested the products. We distinguish research from hands-on testing and will only claim testing when it has actually been performed.
